Happy Halloween!

We had so much fun this Halloween! Brady was Tigger and Anderson was a lion and they both were SO CUTE!!! (I'm a little biased, I know) Brady was ready to be done after the first few houses because he just wanted to eat his candy. We had a great time!

Pumpkin Carving!

Pumpkin carving time! Basically Eric did all the work and Brady just played in the back yard. He definitely did NOT want to touch the insides and Anderson couldn't get enough of it! I had to be careful that he didn't eat it! We did it when my mom was here and she's usually the camera person, but we turned it around and took pics of her and the boys! Isn't she beautiful!? We LOVED having her here and obviously the boys did too! There was pumpkin everywhere by the time we were finished, but it was fun!

Ice Cream Shop!

We have a wonderful ice cream shop about a half mile from our house and we LOVE to walk there. Usually Brady rides his bike, but this time he wanted to ride on Eric's shoulders. He was a little scared at first, hence the hands holding on dearly to Eric's face! We finally got there and he got his "superman" ice cream! Looks good!

My 1st tie!

For those of you that know my husband, he loves to dress nice and has to for work. So, he has been dying to get Brady a tie (really a bowtie)! When I found one I was so excited to bring it home and show it to him! One Sunday morning we decided it was time to break it out! Brady was so excited and was very patient with Eric. He was so proud once he got it on...he really looked like a big boy. So, this is his first tie!

Nana's here!!!

I finally convinced my mom that she needed to come see us!! And she did! One day we talked about it and the next day she booked her ticket...for 2 days later! She came Oct. 20th and stayed for a week! It was wonderful! She kept the boys one night so Eric and I could have a date night! Thanks mom! They had so much fun and we can't wait for them to be closer!

Anderson's 6 months old and painting!

Anderson turned 6 months old on Oct. 15th and it was time to paint! I love seeing what my children will do with paint, especially at this age! He tasted it at first (non-toxic!) and then went crazy! We tried laying down at first, and then in the bumbo seat. He just wanted the paper! It was so funny!

Dollywood with Mimi! Oct. 18th

Eric's mom, Becky (Mimi), and I took the boys to Dollywood last Saturday! They have a children's section that has rides for Brady's age, and we wanted to go during the fall to see the decorations and eat the food! We had a great time and Brady wore himself out and fell asleep before we even got to the car! It was also game day, so we all had on our UT apparel!

The Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden, AL!!!

One Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago we went to a pumpkin patch. The Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden, AL and it was wonderful! We saw animals at the petting zoo, we watched other children jump in the inflateables (because Brady was scared), Brady got his face painted, we rode a wagon to the pumpkin patch AND we finished the day off with an apple pie! =)

Ol' Blue Eyes...

Our sweet Anderson has had gorgeous blue eyes since he was born. Most babies' eyes change color during the first year, but we're hoping that they don't! Eric has green eyes and I have brown, so this would be a first for us!

Yee Haw! Rodeo Time!

So, you think we are here to do sports medicine...Eric doesn't just cover football...he also does the rodeo! Eric and his friend Jeremy cover Univ. of West Alabama football...well, the rodeo was coming to UWA and they had to cover it, so a big group of us decided to go along! What an experience! We were definitely out in the country! We had a great time and saw some interesting things! This is Megan, me, Jennifer, and Emily...and their husbands are below...Eric, Jeremy, Jay and Jeff. The last picture is of one of the bulls that this guy was getting ready to ride and it bucked and went crazy! So fun!

Little UT fan!

Even though we aren't having a winning season this year, we still TRY to support our UT VOLS! Once again though, Anderson just loves his fingers! I wish you could see through the picture what a sweet, easy baby he is! And as evident by the picture below, he is a good sleeper too! =) He sits in his high chair with us when we eat dinner and we looked over and he was gone! So precious!

Veggie Time!!!

We finally started Anderson on veggies! He's probably been wondering what has taken us so long to get to this point, but mommy just wanted to wait! (This is also when our camera died!) I wanted to start him at 5 months, but for those of you that didn't hear about it, we had a stomach bug for 2-3 weeks and Anderson had it when he turned 5 months. So all he was getting at that point was Pedialyte!

We started with squash and he really didn't make much of a face, he just kept on eating like it was just the same as his cereal! He does look so small in the high chair after seeing Brady in it for 2 years!

Homewood Park! 9/23/2008

For those of you who don't know what Homewood is like (our neighborhood), it is like Mayberry. Really. Everyone knows everyone, people are ALWAYS walking/running and kids are playing everywhere! We have a quaint little ice cream shop 1/2 mile from our house that we often walk to with the boys. We also have the most wonderful playground/park 1/2 mile from our house! It is so fun and we have really enjoyed living here. These pictures are from our visit to the playground one weekend. Daddy rarely gets to come with us, so we had to take pictures!

Big Orange Blast in Knoxville!

On Sept. 18th we all went to the Big Orange Blast in Knoxville, TN to cheer on the Vols before the big Florida game on Sat. Eric's brother Brandon was kind of in charge of this event, and it was great!!! They had the UT band, Phil Fulmer, Pat Summit and Bruce Pearl there! Then at the end of the night Pat Green played a concert! It was so much fun, but I think Brady had the best time! There was a football field painted on the grass and he ran all over it! Mayfield was giving away free ice cream sandwiches and Brady kept eating them...thanks to Mimi and Aunt Kathy! He ate 4 of them! But the biggest surprise was when we ran into my Papaw! It had been so long since we had seen him and he finally got to meet Anderson! It was so great to see him. Thanks Brandon for putting on a great show!

Swing time!

This was Anderson's first time in the swing and he loved it! His little grin just melts me every time!

Lindsay's 28th birthday! - September 16th

Tuesday, Sept. 16th was my 28th birthday! I was in Knoxville to see Eric's family, so my sweet husband sent me flowers to their house! After dinner we had cake and Brady helped me blow out the candles and celebrate!

Like Father, Like Son!

Brady's 1st day of Preschool!

Brady's 1st day of preschool!
He was so excited to go and walked right in with no problem! He's had a great time ever since and loves his teachers!

Changing everyday!

Since we've been in Birmingham, we've hit some major milestones with the boys. When we lived in Chattanooga, we had a terrible time getting Brady to stay in his bed at night. We moved here and he goes to sleep on his own and stays in bed! And now his naps have gone from 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours! We think he just really likes his room here. Last Sat. (Aug.2) he said "poopoo potty"...so we took him to the potty and he peed! This was the FIRST time he used the potty! And he continued to do so for the next 2 days! Since then it's not been so easy, but at least we know he can do it! For those of you who are parents, you know what a big deal this is!

As far as Anderson goes, the first night we were here, he decided that he didn't want to sleep in his swaddle blanket anymore. SO, now he is sleeping in his crib but unfortunately he still wakes up at night. He has started cereal and sometimes likes it. He also rolled over for the first time! He will be 4 months old on August 15th and he's changing everyday.
