Sleepy time...

The other day I looked over and Brady had fallen asleep while he was eating lunch. This was so funny to me because he usually fights going to sleep...so this was easy!

WOW!!! A TURTLE!!!

Eric was doing some yard work and happened upon a turtle in our back yard! Of course we had to show Brady and he was a little apprehensive, much to our dismay. Unfortunately he takes after his mommy and doesn't care for bugs or creatures. When we asked him what he wanted to name the turtle, he said "mommy"! So, now every time he goes to the back yard, he looks for the turtle.

Eric's Residency Graduation - June 14th - Niko's Southside Grill

Lazy days...

This is the first time Brady has EVER laid down on the couch to watch a movie! I just had to document it!
Sometimes when he wakes up from his nap, he is still very tired because he didn't sleep long enough. Well, I have figured out that if I lay him on my bed and leave him alone, he'll almost always fall back asleep for at least another hour! And I've learned that with 2 children, you do anything to get some time to get things done!

My sweet Anderson - 7 1/2 weeks old

Anderson smiles all the time now! He's 7 1/2 weeks old here and is so sweet! He's cooing and making noises more and more everyday. Sometimes he looks like Brady and other times he just looks like Anderson! He still wakes up once or twice during the night, but overall he is a great baby with a very laid back personality.

The Reception!

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Parks! Welcome to the family Emily! FINALLY!
The Parks' boys...Brandon, Chad and Eric

Brady and the flower girl

Brady was so sweet and held her hand for a little while...
Then when she started to lift up her dress he was outta there! Such a smart boy! Ha! Ha!

May 31 -Emily and Chad's wedding day!!!

While we were waiting to take pictures before the wedding, Brady found a bag of chips and decided to help himself...and the flower girls!
Then they went on to share with each other...greasy potato chips with their beautiful dresses before the wedding! Brady was clearly enjoying himself!

This is one of the only pictures I have of him actually smiling! At least it is with the bride! And this was after he fed her a chip!

May 30 - Beginning of Chad and Emily's Wedding Weekend!

Me, Emily, Beth and Becky at the bridal luncheon the day before the wedding. After living with 3 boys for so long, Becky finally has 3 girls!

The rehearsal dinner was a tailgate theme...Missouri (Emily's family) and Tennessee (Chad's family). So we all wore orange to support our VOLS!!!

Emily and Chad...the bride and groom!

Brady, Anderson and I went back to the hotel around 10:30 central time to go to bed. This is what Anderson looked like...exhausted and crying. Brady on the other hand was awake and ready to party some more! However, he quickly fell asleep after this picture.

Memorial Day Fun!

Brady loves to be outside and one of his favorite things to do is water plants and flowers. Mimi planted flowers and Brady watered them!

Anderson sleeps most of the time, but here is a rare moment when we caught him smiling!

Brady has also learned how to open the refrigerator door and this particular time he found Mimi's blueberry dessert. It had saran wrap over the top, so he just stuck his finger down in it and started helping himself! Needless to say we couldn't be mad because it was just so cute!

Tubing on the S.S. Parkie!

Out on the lake in Knoxville! Eric and I got to spend some time on Brandon and Beth's boat and the guys went tubing! This is Eric and Chad before they went out.

Later Eric and Brandon went tubing and it was going well until Beth's driving threw them for a loop!

Everyone was okay, and it made for a great picture!

The beginning of Memorial Day weekend...

One of the only family pictures we have! We went to Knoxville for Memorial Day weekend and this was at Eric's cousin's wedding. And outside is where we stayed! Brady and Anderson just thought it would be nice to talk and cry during the wedding...so we played outside till it was over!
Brady has a few people that he talks about constantly and his Uncle Chad is one of them! It's no surprise why Brady loves him!
Brady loves to "help" his Mimi make breakfast on the weekends!
