Brady's a big boy!

Brady has officially become a big boy today! The pacifier is "gone,gone"!!! He is still trying to get used to sleeping without it, (waking up in the middle of the night and at 6 am!), but it is getting a little better everyday. Thanks to Mimi for starting the process this past weekend! He will be 21 months old this weekend, so we figured it was time.
Just a few things he's done in the past few weeks...One morning I thought he was sleeping a little later, but when I went to get him out of bed, he was completely naked! He'd taken his pajamas off, and his diaper. Not until after I took pictures of him did I realize that he had pooped and it was all over his crib! He was so proud of himself and it was so funny that I just couldn't be mad at him!
He is also climbing all over everything (as in the picture on the table). He had pushed everything off the table and was just sitting on top of it swinging his legs back and forth. And this morning I found him IN my clothes hamper! (the other picture) He had climbed up onto a step stool and into the hamper. Needless to say, he was very frustrated that he could not get out.
All in all Eric and I have come to realize that he is growing up at a rapid pace and we need to enjoy every minute. Even the beginnings of what is the "terrible twos"!

Birmingham here we come!!!

We're moving to Birmingham,AL!!! After months of interviews and flying all over the country, Eric finally matched in Birmingham for his Sports Medicine Fellowship next year. We will move sometime this summer and he will start work on August 1st. It is just a year program, and we're not sure yet where we will be after that. So, with the baby due in April, Eric graduating in June and moving at some point, the next 6 months are going to be crazy! But we are thrilled!

Christmas 2007

Christmas this year was so fun! Brady was such a joy on Christmas morning going from one gift to the next, not stopping to play. He loved "helping" everyone open their gifts! We spent Christmas with Eric's family in Knoxville, TN. After Christmas my family came to Chattanooga to spend a few days with us. We loved seeing everyone and always hate that the time goes by so fast. And yes, Brady still has his pacifier...and manages to get two in his mouth sometimes!

Growing and Growing...

I am almost to my third trimester now and getting bigger everyday it seems! Pregnancy pictures are few and far between with the second child, but this is me at 24 weeks. We still have not decided on a name, but hopefully soon we can come to an agreement!

Annual Couples Weekend in Gatlinburg

Happy New Year! We started off our year with our annual trip to Gatlinburg! This was the fifth year we have gotten together with our friends from college. We rent a cabin, cook all our meals and play games till the wee hours of the morning! It was a blast and we look forward to many more trips together!
