Georgia Aquarium!

We went down to Atlanta for a few days and went to the Georiga aquarium and it was so cool! I think Anderson had the most fun of all of us and you can see it on his face! Brady's favorite part was the playground part of it, go figure! It was fun either way!

For as long as I can remember, both of the boys have looked more like Eric than me. Sometimes people will say Brady looks a little like me, but Anderson definitely looks like Eric. Well, one afternoon they decided to put Daddy's glasses on and, I'm pretty sure no one will say they look like me! They are such sweet boys and hopefully will grow up to not only look like their daddy, but be like the amazing man he is as well.

Couples Trip 2010

Every January right after New Year's we go on a trip with some of our friends from college. We rent a cabin in Gatlinburg and stay for a weekend. We cook most of our meals and play games and have a great time! Well, this year we went on a weekend that it had snowed...which turned out to be a complete nightmare! Several of us almost slid off the side of the mountain road, several of us actually pushed our cars up the hill in the snow (CRAZY!) and we almost weren't able to get off the mountain on Sunday when it was time to leave! Overall we had fun, but next year, we're checking the weather first!

Christmas Morning!

For the first time, we spent Christmas Eve and morning at our own house and we had so much fun! The boys were thrilled to see that Santa had been there and of course we had to try everything out! It was a very special morning and one that we won't forget!

A few things I forgot! Eric turned 30 and we had a big party for him with all our friends and family! So fun! For his birthday I got him tickets to the Colts/TItans game and so we went to my first/his second NFL game! It was a blast!

I know it's been a while!!!

Okay, so it's been way too long since my last post, but we've been busy!!! Last July we moved from Birmingham, AL to Kingsport, TN and we are LOVING IT!!! It's so good to be back in East TN! One thing we really missed while living away was the snow and the cooler climate...well, let me tell you, we've had snow!! A lot of it and by now I'm really tired of it! =) Brady has really enjoyed it; Anderson, not so much. Here is a quick update on our lives the past 7 months or so...

~Moved to Kport in July

~Eric and I went to Aruba for a week before he started work. Mom & mamaw kept the boys and we had so much fun!

~ Eric began his job with Watauga Orth. and he loves it!

~Boys started preschool 2 days a week and they really love it! I'm so thankful!

~Started a "meal session" get together with my neighbors that we have continued to do every month! It's a fun time to hang out with the girls and we make lots of yummy food in the process!

~Had our first Christmas in our own house and it was wonderful!

~Christmas night our Toyota Highlander broke down and much to our dismay was going to cost $8000.00 to fix!! SO, We finally decided to get a minivan! Our Honda Odyssey has been SO wonderful! Just had to convince Eric first! =)

~Went on our annual couples trip in January and got stuck on top of the mountain! And almost slid off the mountain in our new van! AHH!

~Brady is 3 1/2 and Anderson is almost 22 months old and they are both so much fun! Anderson has the sweetest heart and Brady loves to play with all his friends & mommy & daddy.

OH! And my family is back in the south! They moved to Atlanta in June and I'm SO THANKFUL to have them closer!
My dad just came up a few days ago for a work meeting and he stayed with us. Brady was so excited to have him here, but when he woke up the next morning, he couldn't stop crying because Gramply was gone. =( I'm so happy to finally have my family in a place where our children will know them and really look forward to spending time with them.
