Thanksgiving 2008 in Knoxville

We spent Thanksgiving with Eric's family in Knoxville this year. We tried to get our Christmas picture done for our card, but it didn't work out so well. Anyway, we got this one of all of us smiling! =)

Putting up our Christmas tree!

We put up our tree the Sunday BEFORE Thanksgiving this year, which is SO against what we've always done. But we were going to be gone for such a long time that we really wanted to be able to enjoy our tree. Brady was such a big "helper" with the ornaments....he tried so hard not to drop them, but a few did land on the floor. It was so fun to see both boys really get into the ornaments and lights. Of course Anderson just sat and watched us, but he giggled a little bit. Overall we had a wonderful time and loved looking at our tree!

My boys

My sweet boys! This was after church one day. They were both in a good mood which is rare at the same time! So precious!

Getting some teeth

Some children teeth on toys or their hands...Anderson teeths on Daddy's chin! Eric was such a good sport about all the drool too!

Rollin', rollin', rollin'...

Anderson loves to roll all over the place and one day I came in from the kitchen and he'd gone right under the swing! He mostly just rolls and scoots around in circles!

To nap or not to nap...

Brady really wants to be a big boy...including making the decision to NOT take his afternoon nap. Let me tell you...sometimes he'd sleep for 3 hours, so I was devastated that my free/clean/Anderson time was going to be over! Well, every day that he didn't take a nap, he fell asleep somewhere in the house later in the day. EVERY TIME! He hasn't caught on that mommy knows if he sits on the couch to "watch a movie", he's going to fall asleep 20 min. later!

Baking with Brady!

Okay, I know that I've been terrible with posting pictures lately, but the holidays (actually about 6 weeks went by and I completely did not have time to do this! So, now I'm playing catch up...lots of pictures with little words. =)
Brady LOVES to help me cook and I have figured out that on days when we ran out of something to do, I decided we would just make brownies together...and a pumpkin pie, a chocolate pie, and a few other goodies. Obviously NOT all in the same day. And he definitely enjoys the finished product!
